Local business people are invited to the grand opening of Lydiard Park Hotel & Conference Centre on Wednesday 24th May.

Lydiard Park Hotel reopens in May 2023 following an extensive £2.6m makeover delivering a modern and stylish new destination for business and leisure customers.

The Lydiard House Hotel is located within 260 acres of the Grade II listed historic landscape of Lydiard Park, which is of the English Landscape Garden Style made famous by William Kent and Capability Brown.

The Georgian Walled Garden, the Grade I listed Palladian mansion, St Mary’s Church, lakeside paths and forest walks are all on the doorstep.

You can book a stay in one of 31 modern bedrooms and dine in style at the newly refurbished restaurant.

The hotel's versatile spaces are ideal for meetings, conferences, special occasions, weddings and parties.

The spaces range from a large and versatile function suite and private dining rooms on the ground floor, to Georgian rooms with high ceilings and lots of natural light on the first floor. These can be set as boardroom or theatre style, and used in combination to provide breakout spaces – perfect for both occasional and regular meetings.

From the first floor, there are sweeping views over Lydiard Park, the lake and St Mary’s Church.

Lydiard Park Hotel provides the perfect venue for daytime and evening events – from working breakfasts through to evening gala dinners, civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts, evening receptions, and parties.

The hotel's Parkside Bar and Restaurant is a family-friendly restaurant with a light airy interior and beautiful views of Lydiard Park. The food here is fabulously unfussy and dishes are created and cooked from the wonderful natural Wiltshire larder.

The brand new park bar, comes complete with seating spreading out from the house into the park giving a unique feeling of bringing the outside in.

The Parkside kitchen will serve delicious meals with a fantastic team of experienced chefs covering a multitude of tastes – perfect for enjoying the hotel’s selection of wines and cold drinks whilst listening to some cool vibes with breath-taking views.

Despite the semi-rural location, the hotel is located on the tip of West Swindon in Wiltshire with easy access from the M4 (J16) and a 15 minute taxi ride from Swindon station.
