A secret project called TechSwindon will be unveiled at a networking meeting in the town this summer.

Details of the project will be revealed to members of Switch on to Swindon – an ambassador scheme aimed at boosting the reputation of the town and attracting inward investment.

The event, at the headquarters of building society Nationwide, will also feature an update on Swindon’s growth projects including the SevenCapital 'Snowdome', out of town areas like Wichelstowe, and the town centre regeneration masterplans.

A new Ambassador Toolkit will also be launched. And as part of the TechSwindon launch there will be a showcase of Swindon's digital and tech companies.

The event takes place at Nationwide Building Society, Pipers Way, SN3 1TX on Thursday, June 6 from 7.15pm to 9pm.
