Mention the name Roves Farm to any child in Swindon and it will invariably bring a smile to their face – this really is an incredibly popular place to go to enjoy all the fun of the farm. Roves Farm is a local working farm that covers 166 hectares just 3 miles east of Swindon, on the Wiltshire and Oxfordshire border. The visitor centre opened in 1992 to welcome people of all ages to come and experience and learn about animals, farming and the countryside. Kids (and big kids!) can enjoy animal handling, tractor rides around the farm and a great soft play area in a barn.
