Oink, Oink! Cluck, Cluck! Neigh! Baa! If the sound of animals is music to your ears then you will love Roves Farm in Sevenhampton, near Swindon
Roves Farm is a local working farm that covers 166 hectares just 3 miles east of Swindon, on the Wiltshire and Oxfordshire border. The visitor centre opened in 1992 to welcome people of all ages to come and experience and learn about animals, farming and the countryside. Kids (and big kids!) can enjoy animal handling, tractor rides around the farm and a great soft play area in a barn.
Roves Farm offers a full day of activities whatever the weather! Meet and feed their friendly farm animals in Pets Corner, rub noses with piglets of all ages in the Animal Barn and take part in some extra daily animal activities all under cover.
A newly extended heated indoor play and activity barn houses plenty of activities to keep the family busy. Exciting play areas for all ages include giants slides, ropes, ball ponds, pedal tractors and more! Or sit down at the Craft Tables to create your own paper crafts to take home during activity time.
And there is no need to go hungry on this farm! Enjoy some of their delicious homemade light lunches, cakes and drinks at the Woolly Sheep Café. Special toddler activities run twice a day every week day in term time, including bubbles, stories, singing and games.
The farm others a full programme of activities throughout the year for large and small groups, including birthday parties and family camps.
