Something for everyone at Cotswold lakes … there’s even a beach!
The Cotswold Water Park covers an area of 40 square miles with more than 170 lakes. The Western section lies to the west of the A419 between Swindon and Cirencester.
Activities? How about these for starters? Boat hire, canoeing, kayaking, inflatable rides, paddle boarding, sailing, swimming, wakeboarding, water-skiing, windsurfing – and that’s just the water sports! There’s also aerial adventure, angling, archery, a beach, golf, horse riding, paintballing, rally driving, a sculpture park, shooting and wilderness skills.
If you prefer more sedate pastimes, there are also whole swathes of countryside where you can relax lakeside far from the madding crowd and be at one with nature and the wildlife.
The Park is also home to a wide range of accommodation, from exclusive holiday homes and luxury lodges, to hotels, campsites and B&Bs.
