SWINDON IS FOLLOWING  COVID GUIDELINES

Like the rest of the UK, Swindon is now easing its way out of lockdown. As of 17 May, people in England are able to socialise indoors in a group of up to six people or two households, including for overnight stays. Up to 30 people can meet outside. Pubs, theatres and other venues can open indoors. Hotels, hostels and B&Bs can open for people on holiday.

Swindon Borough Council continues to work with Wiltshire Police to deploy specially trained staff and Police Community Support Officers to act as COVID safety marshals and help keep the public safe.

Crucially, people can now get out with their family to enjoy Swindon’s amazing green spaces; you’re even allowed to meet with 30 people from another household and sit with them in a park. So why not forget about the lockdown just for a while and enjoy everything Swindon and nature has to offer in its great outdoor spaces?
