SWINDON IS FOLLOWING LOCKDOWN GUIDELINES
Like the rest of the UK, Swindon is still in lockdown, though some easing is happening. Pubs, restaurants and non-essential shops are still closed, along with entertainment and leisure venues – as well as hairdressers and beauty salons.
Where essential shops and public areas are open, Swindon Borough Council is working with Wiltshire Police to deploy specially trained staff and Police Community Support Officers to act as COVID safety marshals and help keep the public safe.
Crucially, people can still get out with their family to enjoy Swindon’s amazing green spaces; you’re even allowed to meet with six people from another household and sit with them in a park. So why not forget about the lockdown just for a while and enjoy everything Swindon and nature has to offer in its great outdoor spaces?
